Our Teachers

All Music Factory teachers have either degrees from prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music, Musicians institute or similar music schools, or have extensive professional experience in the Music industry. No other Music school can match the Music Factory's resume of teachers. Many of our teachers are touring and recording professionals with major label credentials and have toured the world extensively. We work hard to find teachers who have this level of professional experience as well as traditional music educations. Music Factory teachers maintain the highest level of professionalism and strive to provide an inspirational relationship with their students.

In Home Lessons

The Music Factory also provides In Home lesson services. If you live to far away to come to the Music Factory school or are just looking for an extra level of convenience, we can come to you. The benefit of doing In Home lesson with Music Factory is that you can still come to the school location to participate in Rock Factory Band classes and recitals. The Music Factory offers private instruction for the following instruments.

Guitar and bass lessons (electric and acoustic)

Our guitar teachers teach rock, blues, metal and country guitar lessons on electric and acoustic guitars. Beginner students can expect to work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading and theory. We balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson you are challenged with a new technical or theory concept, but always end with something fun such as your favorite riff or song. We use a variety of guitar method books to accomplish this as well as the Music Factory curriculum and testing program. we encourage students to bring CDs or their iPod to their lesson to learn their favorite tunes.

Piano Lessons

Our piano teachers teach a variety of styles from jazz to popular music. Whether you want to learn Miles Davis or Alicia Keys, our teachers are happy to help you become the pianist you want to be. Our piano faculty will show you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique and theory, but they will also incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons. You will also work out of the Music Factory piano curriculum. You do not have to have a piano at home to take lessons. A simple full size electronic keyboard will suffice for the first 6 months.

Drum Lessons

We have  the most professional drum lesson rooms in Orange County, with only professional quality drums and cymbals as well Roland drum kits for students to use. Our drum instructors teach rock, metal, jazz, funk, blues and many other styles. Drum language can be complex and our instructors will challenge any drummer with a wide variety of technical exercises designed to improve your speed and comfort. All drummers bring in their favorite drum parts to learn in their lessons and  learning theory is guaranteed by the use of The Music Factory Drum curriculum and testing program. You do not have to purchase a drum kit to take lessons. Beginning students can learn with a drum pad and sticks. Students use our drum set at their lessons and do not have to bring anything except their drum sticks and a notebook.

Voice Lessons

Our voice teachers primarily focus on popular music. If you have always wanted to be a better rock, pop, country, jazz, gospel or R&B singer, then we have the right voice teachers for you. Voice students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more. All voice students set goals with their teacher to work on sounding like their favorite recording artists, or if they prefer, to develop their own unique voice. We not only teach singers, but also anyone who wants to improve their speaking voice. Music Factory voice studios are equipped with recording devices so you can better track your progression. * Be sure to check rate for vocal lessons.

DJ and Beat Making Lessons

The Music Factory is very excited to offer this unique program. Our experienced club DJs can teach you everything from basic beat matching to how to use the latest computer based DJ software such as serrato. From DJ classes students can move into Beat production and Music production software programs such as Pro tools, Logic and Ableton live. these classes will be  designed around each individual students needs and goals.

Rates for private instruction:

The Music Factory private lessons are on a month to month basis

We offer private lessons Monday- Friday 10:00am to 9:00pm  Saturdays 9:00am to 4:00pm

Lessons are $33.25 per 30-minute lesson you would come once a week.

Lessons are $64.00 per 60-minute lesson and you would come once a week. ( For Serious students)
